Lessons learned<\/h3>\n

The end of the year – it\u2019s a time to finalize, to summarize, to reflect, and to learn in order to plan next steps and new projects most reasonably and efficiently.<\/p>\n

At GKM, we have taken this chance for reflecting and thinking about past and current projects<\/strong> we have been entrusted with. We realized that after now almost 35 years in the business of clinical research, we are fortunate to have gained an extensive experience on a number of indications. Also, we recognized that naturally we profit from the familiarity and knowledge on the various study indication types – and that we would like to share this benefit.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Therefore, we started a project at GKM involving all clinical research divisions: medical advising & clinical safety, biostatistics, project management and data management. The result of this operation is the beginning of a documentation series<\/strong> we would like to call \u201cLessons Learned\u201d<\/strong> – a collection of insights and learnings from our work in clinical research over the past years on different indication groups.<\/p>\n

Today we would like to start off \u201cLessons Learned\u201d with inflammatory bowel diseases<\/strong>, a group of indications which we have accompanied for 25 years. Insights from 11 clinical and non-interventional studies are presented in this short brochure<\/strong>. We hope to provide you with some useful tips and information.
